With the momentous Health Care Bill's passage in recent memory, we have cause to celebrate this still fresh and young bill that will save many lives, many dreams, many hearts and many families. The uphill battle the Democratic Congress had to endure seemed almost insurmountable. This reform was deemed DOA at almost every turn of this historic story. Through the sheer will and determination, we saw many hear the call, pick up the ball and carried this historic HCR bill over the top of the perilous hill. Harry Reid was the quiet, persistent person who through all odds and through opposition from square one from friends and foes alike, we often did not take the time to thank Harry Reid for helping to save America in her most dire time of need. I would like to dedicate this diary to Harry Reid for being the quiet, persistent unsung hero of Health Care Reform.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, America loves you! For unflinchingly trotting through the opposition bent on destroying you and the American dream. We thank you for standing up with Obama and Pelosi who stood by your side through thick and thin. We love you for working for the best interest of all of us, spending countless sleepless nights having the extra burden of the unfortunate accident the most dear to your heart had to endure. Senator Harry Reid, we thank you for picking up the torch thrown to the ground and lighting the way toward a better future. We thank you, we love you for helping pass HCR and beginning the long road toward a brighter tomorrow.
